For what it is— a smutty little romcom— this is a solid read. Funny, cute, predictable, but in a comforting way, not an annoying way. The audiobook narrator for Josh did a weird voice that honestly sounded like it was mocking them, so that gave me the ick. Hazel was dangerously close to twee manic pixie dream girl, but thankfully had some depth. Otherwise it was a fine and fast read.

Fluffy easy read for the end of the year. Very easy to love characters. Female lead is a little manic pixie dream girl, but it works. Lots of humorous moments and character … well, growth? No one feels broken before but they definitely make gains on areas they are already well progressed on.
There is a trope near the end that I don’t love but it doesn’t ruin it for me.
