I really enjoyed the third book in the series. I liked both the major characters and felt their chemistry was good. The career and family side plots were also interesting, and the extended cast were fully fleshed out and generally likeable. The content warnings are mostly related to the extended family relationships in this book, not the FMC or MMC. The only criticism I had is that
there were far too many sex scenes and these detracted from the plot. I skimmed over them.
This may not, however, be a problem depending on your taste in romance.

Childhood sweethearts AND second chance romance?? With a side of mystery??? My cup runneth over!!!

I can't say enough great things about this series! The Asian rep, the close friendships, the excellent tropes!! (This one is second chance pairing, the others are enemies to lovers and friends to lovers) And the smut 💕🔥🔥

I am a fan of Cathy Yardley's work and can't wait to read her next book!!! (In April 💀😭 but anyway)
