This was a good installment to the Necessary Evils series!

In this story you get to know more about behind the scenes tech mother Calliope. This story involved her son Dimitri- a psychopath and his sweet fixation Arlo. Although the story was short it was very interesting. I enjoyed the plot- and I enjoyed Holden being bashed with a brick even more. They deserved their HEA and I can’t wait to see this couple in Headcase

The appearance from our Mulvaney boys was a nice touch- an added bonus. August is for sure one of my favorites.

I may be unhealthily obsessed with this series. But once again, the psychopaths of the A Necessary Evils world had the butterflies in my tummy fluttering. I read this in one sitting, after midnight, on the first day it was released. Could not put it down.

Just wish this could have been longer

Another Onley James Necessary Evils story. It was great to get Dmitri and Arlo's story (which fits just before/alongside the beginning of Headcase, Asa's story) and I loved these two and the way they bump into the Mulvaney's world. Just wish this could have been longer rather than a novella
