Linka z minulosti obsahuje Hooperovo vyprávění, jak řešili jeden případ v New Yorku.
A tam už mě to přestalo bavit. Nebavilo mě sledovat to chování gangů a děj umístěný do rozpadlých částí New Yorku, chlast, drogy a tak dále.

Just like the first Stranger Things book, this isn't what I was expecting, however still enjoyed it overall. It took me ages to read as I was finding myself sometimes enjoying it and sometimes a bit bored. I'm a huge Stranger Things fan so I am glad I read it to get an insight into Hoppers life before Hawkins.

It was a good crime book with a little bit of mystery. I really enjoy Hoppers character, so that kept me reading. I enjoyed the writing and learning more about his past adventures and what shaped his character. It really has absolutely nothing to do with Stranger Things, though.

So good! I absolutely loved reading more about Hopper and his past as a NYC detective. Also the case was super interesting, but I'm always a suckered for a good cult story.
