After Red, White and Royal Blue, this one fell a bit flat for me. I wasn't really into the time-travel plot and the story moved quite slowly. The writing was just as good, and I liked the found family and the dynamics between the characters. However, the personalities all felt really similar and I hated the PDA. I'm also not a fan of graphic smut, and there was a lot. This one feels a lot more spicy in my opinion, though it does still have the slow-burn romance that I loved in RWRB. The ending was better than expected.

By itself, I would have given it 3/5. But since I'm such a big fan of RWRB, I can't help but be disappointed.

2/5.

I was rooting for them, but not their sex life. Covid in the coochie. Snail trail on the seats. The power of gay doesn’t save you from chlamydia. Retro hoe may have been carrying some std from the past, and even if she didn’t the metro might. Rats are known for carrying diseases. Overall a fun read.

I thought I was in for a simple cute little wlw story. Boy was I wrong !!! Without any spoilers, this is indeed a wlw story but with an unexpected turn I was very happy to discover. I felt right at home with these relatable and queer characters and would love to read spin offs about them.
