I enjoyed this even more than Red, White & Royal Blue--and I really enjoyed that! I wasn't really expecting the sci-fi elements of this but loved 'em.

This book was so much longer than it needed to be. It took me so long to get through it due to the lengthy chapters and drawn out storylines.

I did really enjoy the characters (although the side characters were better than the main) and their lives were fun to read about. Genuinely the roommates and friends were a lot more exciting than the main character.

This book was just a bit too unrealistic in all the wrong places for me. I wish I would have enjoyed it a lot more but this book just wasn’t for me.

Also why were they doin it on the subway????

This was a nice, cute well written story. It didn't grip me like I wanted it to, but that's probably not the books fault.

I liked the characters and the representation. I think the plot itself just didnt interest me that much.

But again, I'm not sure if that's really the books fault. Overall it's good and if you like Casey McQuiston's others books (it reminded me most in terms of style and pacing of Shara Wheeler) then you'll probably like this one too.

SO adorable!! I can see why it's so high on everyone's list of queer modern romances. Such a sweet found family story at the heart of it too. Loved.
