Lettura piacevole e leggera, scorre veloce e tiene compagnia.
Nulla di entusiasmante o che mi abbia dato qualcosa però mi è piaciuto leggerlo

Honestly... I don't think I "get" it. I liked the story. I liked Holden. I cared about him, and it was interesting to walk around in his head.
But..I don't think I understand why this book is such a classic, or so acclaimed. Is it the writing? The characters? There isn't really any traditional plot to speak of. It's kind of a weekend in the life of a teenager struggling to find purpose in his life.
Maybe that's it. That struggle we can all relate to - wondering why anything matters.

I liked Holden and he was a great narrator, some bits were pretty sad and uncomfortable (probs to be expected for a book about someone descending into a psychotic episode.)
I get why it’s a classic. I enjoyed it but will probably never pick it up to read again. I wasn’t hooked and could have taken it or left it so it doesn’t quite get 4 stars.

Just not a fan. For someone who hates phonies so much, he does not realize that he is in fact the most phony in the whole novel. Very little interest in one sad little boy crying that he’s growing up. Whole thing reads like a pathetic love letter to Salinger’s school days, and if anyone misses being that depressed they’re nuts. I live it enough to not need to read it.
