5.0

Great history of the start, success, and end of Negro League Baseball. The focus on known and unknown managers, owners, and players throughout its history, the naming of the racism the players experienced, and the backmatter of how far baseball still has to go in terms of equality were just some of the highlights.
Yay for Varian Johnson nonfiction.
