This was an amazing book and I know it’s the final book of this duet but I’d love more! I don’t want to say goodbye to these characters.
I love the time travel aspect and the mysteries. I love that it’s set in Europe in the time leading up to WW11.
I LOVE the characters and their journey!!
I cried at times, I think I was muttering to myself at times when I was shocked or nervous. It brings all the emotions!!
Incredible writing!! I’m so in love with everything about this story!
Top favorite book! It’s a must read!

Wow there were so many twists and turns. I found  holding my breath as I read about the soldiers coming to their home and how they all feel in these dangerous moments.  The story made me cry both happy and sad tears! At the end of this there was a long to a short epilogue called The Island. Really enjoyed this series.

This duet was awesome. I loved it. It made me smile and cry. I loved Henri and Sarah. Sarah was so amazing and badass. I really liked Quinn in the last duet but Sarah takes the cake. She’s so strong and ruthless and protective of the people that she loves.

The first book was sweet. Amelie and Henri falling in love. Henri was also such an ideal man. He sacrificed his happiness to protect his sister and worked hard for her and Amelie. It had a light hearted tone.

The second book was poignant and painful. Their lives are no longer easy and full of rainbows. Everything that Amelie had to go through during the first part of the book really made my heart cry. Henri was the only thought that kept her alive. Then she came back to Henri but got the worst surprise of her life.

While was Marie was nice in the first book, everything that Amelie had to go through was because of her. I’d she didn’t insist on seeing her mother, they wouldn’t have been captured. Amelie gave up so much to rescue Marie. Then later, Marie abandons her again which annoyed me so much. Yes she still he’ll out a lot later in the book but didn’t stop me from hating her a little for her selfish choices.

Amelie and Henri had such a hard life but they loved each other so much. Yes Henri did that thing which pissed me off but he was grieving so hard he was not himself. He was good bad with one bad mistake but that didn’t stop me from wishing that Amelie punished him a little for it. And she did to some extent. Their story was just beautiful. Their love was beautiful. And I loved how everything came together at the end and how it explained all the loose threads from the previous duet.

I really enjoyed and loved this series.

update: I can’t stop thinking about this series. A 5-star series for sure.

KU. 4.9 stars. Do yourself a favor and read this series. This book was an emotional roller coaster. I never knew how it was going to end or even how I wanted it to, but it was so beautifully wrapped up, tying in the details and characters from the first 2 books. This series was AMAZING. Books 3&4 did not disappoint. They gave me all the depth and background I needed from the first two, but WWII drama. All the Outlander feels.

The series feels complete, but I know she’s writing another book from a future POV, which I will 100000000% be reading the moment it comes out.
