Solid story and sorry to see the end of this series and move on from the Kane brothers. Rose was really fun and Fionn was decent but probably my least favourite couple—although a good read regardless, I just didn’t connect with them as well. Great writing and plot once again

Unfortunately, book three of the series doesn't include new twists on old serial killers like book one.  Fortunately, it doesn't include gore like book two.  It focuses on mostly lovable characters.  They have good chemistry.  The plot paving and choice of big bad guy was not great.

Scythe & Sparrow by Brynne Weaver is a dark romantic comedy that I listened to on audio narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Eric Nolan. This is the third book in The Ruinous Love Trilogy.

Brynne did a great job pulling me into this story. I couldn't help but binge the book in one sitting. I loved the relationship that bloomed between Fionn and Rose. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

Eric and Nolan did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you're looking for a dark romance, romantic comedy, friends with benefits romance or forced proximity romance.
