The best book of the trilogy imo!
I loved Fionn and Rose, how different they were, but still fit so perfectly together and accepted each other with their faults.
He embraced her dark (and his own) she embraced his light (and her own). A nice grumpy/sunshine with a dark twist, like Brynne Weaver is so good at doing 🤭
They had good chemistry -maybe I liked Lark's and Lachlan's more- but the spicy scenes were SPICYING (cotton candy?! 🍬 a hand knitted swing...?!)
Also loved seeing the little snippets of the other books of the series, made me remind them and see how now everything makes sense, with the full puzzle complete. Also I liked the Fionn's grovel at the end ngl 🙈
I felt like the first prologue was a bit unnecessary and confusing; the fact it was all of a sudden being narrated by Butcher? The story how they got to the cabin is in general very all over the place. I guess the kind of mysterious character in the end with the open ending might be a pointer for a 4th book of the series? If yes, okay, but it wouldn't be the same, if not, then it's just unnecessary... we shall see

This was a fine addition to the trilogy! I felt like story beats and Rose and Fionn didn’t get to be as fleshed out as the others did in the previous two books; but maybe that’s just because it spans a longer time period. This was maybe the sweetest out of the three so we get points for that. Overall this has been a cute mid-range series.
