Ahh finally got around to reading this and rereading the first four volumes. Absolutely delightful stuff, love how we are getting into the nitty gritty of both technique and also relationship dynamics!

um this was just vibes.

BUT HONESTLY IDK WHY IM SO ADDICTED TO GRAPHIC NOVELS LIKE THIS AND CHECK PLEASE BUT THEY'RE SO FUN TO READ

and ohmygodddd the art for that one page of seji and jesse was so yum johanna the mad is slaying

anyways this book was just nicholas being so mid at fencing poor boy but i loved it as i usually do WHY IS IT SO SMALL THO I HAVE TO WAIT LIKE A YEAR FOR THE NEXT ONE CRYING

edit: I FORGOT TO MENTION THE MOST FUNNIEST THING but one of the schools that they vs in this fencing thing that they go to is nicknamed MACROB and that's a school in Melbourne where Pacat was born idk if that was intentional or not but it made me cackle

Eh, not as fun as the first few volumes. Also they changed the art style so late and that usually pisses me off bad. Great premise though and fun at first.

There were so many characters introduced in this volume. I hope they all get more development in the next one.

I’ve been stuck in one of the most serious reading slumps I’ve ever suffered through and decided to pick up some quick fun reads to help ease myself back into reading more consistently… diving back into this series was the best decision! It’s great to be back in the story, back in the art and back in the fun of it all. A lovely series I think I’ll always hold close to my heart.
