First half of the book I loved Sloane and a bit of Declan. Second half not so much. Can he stop calling her his fkg captive!! It’s so cringey and the master stuff too. This is mainly the reason why I started enjoying this book less. He’s always giving her orders like she’s his slave and like he’s training a dog, and then SHE FOLLOWS HIS ORDERS!!!

This twisted my brain. I love Sloane. We all wish we were a little more like this girl. She is a power house. I wasn't falling for Declan like I did for the other male characters by this artist. I think for me I didn't love the powerplay in the relationship....however it stole absolutely nothing from the writing, the plot or the spice. It all hit. I kinda was surprised at the immediate sexual tension between the two. I was kinda hoping for a more disgruntled meeting as they are captor/ kidnapped. But the twists were delightful and the writing was excellent. The twist in the epilog has me spinning. Can't wait to see where the writer takes this.

I’m sorry to cage because I absolutely loved him in the first book, but Declan is book boyfriend! Like king of the castle amazing MMC! JT Geisinger can do no wrong. In my opinion. I have not read one of her books that I did not love.

This book so amazing. I can not remember laughing out loud so many times while reading. The FMC was so great with her banter, she took everything in stride and did not let men intimidate her. She had all of the MMC's men wrapped around her finger with not much evert at all.

The MMC was grouchy and hard to let people in but once he did he became a huge softy towards his girl and no one elses.

I am excited on reading the other two books in the series because I truly believe there is more to the story as these men can not accept a truce for the sake of their women and always have to make things complicated.

I can't wait to see whats next!!!!!!

I don’t like Sloane. She has redeeming qualities but I think what I don’t like in this authors stories is the lengthy and numerous descriptions that push past suspension of disbelief. How many times are we going to talk about good vs evil and love and the Grand Canyon? I agree too that this plot was shit and Kate wouldn’t pull this like this against Natalie.

This author has me by the balls and I couldn't care any less. I'm such a sucker for this series and I can't fecking put it down. If you're a mafia-romance lover, this is a must-read.
