Ahhh this was so incredibly wonderful, exactly the type of book I needed as a baby queer. 16 year old me would’ve ADORED this and never let it go, 23 year old me is so proud of this author and this book and the impact it has had and will continue to have.

It was good fast I enjoyed it. Idk poetry books aren’t my favorite but it was a good story. I’m also a sucker for a love story and I didn’t get my fairytale ending which I know wasn’t the point but ya know.

I enjoyed the whole book being written in poetry form. It made the book a really unique read and I loved the messages it gave along.
Quick, easy read. Inspired me to be myself more.

Loved it. I think there s big parts that i love and small ones that worm their way into my heart. I love Anna giving Micheal her pink flamingo, I love the black flamingo’s becoming.
I love the art, and the feathers, the similies and the metaphors, but most importantly I love how it feels so very wonderful, and so very human.
