Idk if it was because i listened to this or what but i did not enjoy this book at all. I couldn’t get into it. The story seemed like 20 different stories all put together. It didn’t seem realistic at all. Idk i just wasn’t a fan

This was a fun read with the city of LA as a character. It was not overwhelming sad or depressing but defiantly unrealistic and maybe a little too clean.

The Alvarado family has more drama in one year than a telenovela. The story starts with January and ends with December. One year with this family, they maybe be a bit hard to love at first but then you want to see how they get out of their conundrums. By the end, you wish there was more to see how they survive another year.
