made some very good points, especially when talking about the importance of a love ethic in activism, politics, and community, as well as in its critique of consumerism and capitalism, and the discussion is easy to understand. however came off a little entry-level and preachy at times. some chapters made me thoughtful, some i forgot about as soon as i'd read them.
