This is such an incredible read!! All the goodness of pride and prejudice combined with monster slaying, magic, wings, and of course, a delicious romance.
SPOILERS AHEAD.
Since it's a modern day retelling, the character representing George Wickham doesn't get to enjoy life with the minor they seduced and eloped with, but gets sent to jail. Yay!! for that. Also the main couple get together quicker than in the original and the characters standing for Jane and Bingley also get together without any issues, ie a well meaning Darcy intervening, which are all variations from the original plot. So, if you're looking for a faithful retelling, this may not be the book for you, but if you're looking for a retelling that has captured the spirit of the original and is rendered in such a way that the differences are not even noticed while you're reading, you must try this one!!
It will appeal to fans of high fantasy, urban fantasy and of course, to fans of Pride and Prejudice.
Go for a wild ride through the skies and the land, and enjoy this amazing book!!
