I couldn't really make sense of this book. I liked the concept and the story, but I felt like it wasn't worked out well. It didn't suck me in. It didn't explain anything very well either. Mostly, this felt like reading the answers when I had no idea what the questions even were. I couldn't connect with any characters. I think it's a pity because I do feel there is so much potential in this story yet it just fell flat.

This is  the kind of book I would’ve devoured as a teen if this had been in my library. Such a lovely and adventurous read. Very straightforward and not complicated like fantasy tends to be.

This book is really mystical, I love it. The worldbuilding and fantasy is beautiful.
