I had a sneaky feeling this book would deteriorate towards the end.

I was totally wrong.

The author is a master in characterisation development - this skill is more than matched by the intricate and interesting plot as always. First class!!

I’m definitely going to re-read this. I was so entranced I spent the whole day reading it, and was not disappointed. I guess the extra couple of pounds was worth it for the hardback, because i’m definitely going to wear it down.

This has become one of my favorite thriller and book of the year. I will never forget the rush it gave me when I read it and it seriously shook me to the core. I like to write it without disclosing much because it will definitely spoil your experience.

After a long time, I got to reacquaint with my Eddie. The very first line made me laugh out loud. I was thankful for him because his POV soothed me after reading some horrifying things.

I loved how they found out most of the things with little or no evidence available. The arrest thing and the cash stunt were by far my most favorite things done by Eddie. I want more books in this series. Please don't end it.

Bloch has stole my heart with her fearless nature. The way she stood when the deputy swung the stick gave me goosebumps. Hell, she didn't even flinch at that. She's definitely a badass.

The thing with the novel is that I knew the killer and knew most of the things that happened. Still, it kept me at the edge of the seat. It gave me heart attacks and It was horrifying to read some POV's especially that Randal Korn. He's a devil in disguise. Most of the persons in this novel are.

I learned some information from this novel. Like the five prosecutors putting 440 people to their death. Which terrified me.
