This was just fine? I didn’t really like the formatting; the long, centered paragraphs made it a bit difficult to focus. I did get to further my studies of Ancient Greece a little more, but it just wasn’t really an enjoyable text to read, mostly because of the misogyny. Of course, this makes me wonder even more how different this would be if it were translated by a woman (like how Wilson’s Odyssey is incredibly different from Fagles and Lattimore’s respective versions). I guess we won’t know until it happens.
