This book follows Jenny and Jaewoo from their first meeting in Los Angeles and then when they attend the same school in Korea. Unbeknownst to Jenny, Jaewoo is a famous K-pop star who is unable to have relationships because he has to focus on his stardom. However, overtime, obviously love wins out, and there’s a happily ever after. No spoilers there…
This was a very sweet book, but I struggled with seeing how the characters went from just hanging out in Los Angeles to falling in love since they never saw each other because both of them were so busy. However, I did rate it four stars because I did enjoy it and wanted to keep reading it as well as enjoyed the writing.

"It was okay."
Writing was mediocre, characters weren't fleshed out as much as I'd like, didn't dig it too much because it was sort of like instalove, but probably would have rated it higher if the night they spent together was longer (i love a 'before sunrise' moment – that's the reason I was drawn to this book in the first place). the only 5/5 is the overall aesthetic. ending felt rushed/so-so. i enjoyed some of the angst in between though.
But even so, this book has a special place in my heart (as it's the book I brought with me to the hospital).

This was a super cute read. I loved the plot of this book. It was better then I thought. There was nothing over the top about it though. As much as I had a fun time reading it. The book kind of reminded me of a mix of StarStruck and To All the Boys.

I'm currently 17. This book felt really "y/n" to me ifyk what i mean. It felt cringe reading it at times because it's like a fanfic. For a Y/A book, it feels more toward middle-grade but more for 13-15
It was a nice read. It was easy and fast, I wouldn't reread this book but I would recommend it to someone if they're interested in something like this. I know there's a second book and I'd love to read it but I dont know how much sexual content there is and i hear its lacking romance
There was nothing SEXUAL here but the process of undoing clothes was here, kissing, 1 dirty comment, stuff like that. Not my thing because i like it just purely love and not lust yk?
