I found the first half of this book zoomed by, the next 35% dragged, and then the conclusion was relatively rushed.

This plot of this book took an interesting look at Mom-fluencers and Trad wives, which makes it an interesting reflection of our era. I think the author explored this is some interesting ways. The juxtaposition of Bex & Lizzie's stories really captured the truth of what goes into it, and the ways it can make mother's feel not "enough". (To say nothing of the brand and business side of influencing.)

Overall, this would make a solid airplane book or other quick, fast paced, read.

The last POV chapter ruined it for me. I was hoping the ending would include a twist that
one of the non lead characters was behind the manipulation, like Olivia and/or Veronica but to make Veronica into a socio/psychopath completely undermines her motives for readers and makes her just as hateable as the male main characters. She has clear disdain/hatred for other women who get in her way and is self serving and unredeemable. Complete missed opportunity to have her and Olivia working in cahoots to orchestrate a plot that would be justified by the reader based on the shitty men but still maintain her humanity. What's the lesson here? Because if the main orchestrator has a personality disorder and has always been that way, then there's no expectation of accountability.
