“I fell the first time I saw you. I’ve been falling ever since. I fear I love you, Severn.”

I told myself that I wasn’t allowed to buy any more books before I finished those I already got but now I have to because I need to know how this continues! This book was amazing, the characters and the romance is so good. I really like the story and the world building. I just need to know what will happen now!

“I love you,” he panted. “That is no lie.”

“Are you going to stare all day, or shall we fuck, because I know which I’d prefer, angel.”

I reread this book exactly a year after I read it the first time without thinking about it, that if something shows that there is supernatural forces at play…

I could read this book a hundred times and never tire, it’s just to perfect! The world building is as always flawless and absolutely amazing, interesting and everything! The characters are perfectly imperfect, with depth, struggles and imperfections that make them so real.

It felt like if was rereading this book for the first time since I didn’t remember much except for the bigger structure, and that was amazing. Imagine getting to read your favorite book again!

Really, really enjoyed this!! I ate it up!!

We are dropped into this world where the two main love interests already know each other and have had somewhat of a relationship prior to what we as the readers see. So when they begin their romantic relationship, it might seem a bit fast but it really isn't. I think something that could have helped flesh out the story/dynamic between these two is flashbacks. Just moments in their history that showed a bit more just how complicated their relationship is.

Other than that, I really did like this. There was some really good angst- not sure what it is in me, but I enjoyed Severn's emotional suffering lol. He's such a sap.

I have no words !!! This book is more than AMAZING !!! It was just so intense. It’s well written and while reading you don’t have all the information and you don’t know exactly what are Severn’s secrets.
I was transported by the universe, and I want to know what will happen next !!
Ariana Nash is one of my favourite MM authors and I know why

This book is racist in a weird sort of way, when I have the mind to to disassemble it I will. But I’ll ask the author few questions, why are angels only allowed to be pale skinned and blue eyed? Why is dark skin associated with demons? Further why is the mc unable to break the glamour that makes him pale skinned? Is it because it’s more comfortable to have white skinned protagonists? Won’t be reading anything from this shit author ever again, eww the vibes r disgusting.

This book is magic and had me hooked from the very first page. My heart ache for Severn and Mikhail. The ending literally left me breathless from the pain. World building was amazing and characters were so complex yet so easy to fall in love with. Off to book 2 now !!
