Ruthless Knight was amazing. It had everything one needs for a 5 star read. Plot, awesome dynamic characters, awesome writing etc. Ashely knocked it out of the park with this addition to Royal Hearts Academy.

Absolutely a 4.5 star for me… I liked this book better than the first. Sawyer is and was my favorite character (along with Oak), but what A Jade did here was amazing. I know what it’s like dealing with eating disorders, I’ve had issues with food since I was in middle school, so this hit home for me. Cole…he ripped me to shreds and I adore him. There hasn’t been a book from this author that I haven’t loved…she has a way of making the reader feel all the emotions and I can’t wait to dive into Oakley’s story now!

This book was interesting, not as impressive as the first book, but it definitely made sense. I love how it could be a stand-alone book. The dynamic shift in the book takes place gradually, but when it does complete, the result is beyond what I would have expected. Starting off as an acquaintance with an oops night and then turning into friends and lovers was definitely different in the romance. This book was less emotional and more dynamic in characters' personalities and changes of character's hearts.
Cole and Sawyer captivated me for this drama. Sawyer came across as honest and helpful, while Cole came across as a prick. But to see the change in him as it progresses and falls depend in love with Sawyers was hopelessly romantic. What will the rest of the book contain? I guess you have to read it for yourself !! I definitely didn't expect all the surprises that this book entailed.

( tw? ) i’m really glad i picked up the second book in this series because i relate even more to the main character and i’m really sad i got to see her loose weight.. but i’m really glad it’s been talked about in books, i myself struggle with body image so much to the point where i starve myself & that’s not something i recommend at all! (i suffer with binge eating).
no matter what happens PLEASE don’t ever let your thoughts get in the way, don’t let others bring you down by body shaming you, DONT EVER LET THAT VOICE GETS TO YOU, whenever you feel like you wanna loose weight for health problems then do it the right way go to a nutritionist but don’t ever loose weight because someone told you too. i promise you’re beautiful no matter what you look like, you’re naturally beautiful! take care of your self, please ;)
