The entire book is just to find out that Midnight is a nice badger who can see the future and said the humans are building a highway through the forest and the cats need to leave. The end.

even though they walked for 150+ pages it still ate down… who made it eat down you may ask? SQUIRRELPAW.
She’s literally my favourite character in the series EVER. Like she’s just so effortlessly funny and she’s just so silly and cutesy and OMGGG her and brambleclaw are soooo funny I LOVE THEM

also yes this is incredibly short compared to my other reviews but I fear that I locked in when I was writing those or like I just had a shakespeare moment or something but I think I’ve lost the ability to do it… abbie, idk how you write essays for almost all your reviews, you scare me.

-the beginning of the book is very slow

-Brambleclaw is a boring protagonist

-Squirrelpaw is a brat at this point but she is still funny and fun

-i like the sister relationship

-firestar got annoying at some parts with keeping Brambleclaw and Squirrelpaw apart and getting mad at them without telling them why

-why do the journeying cats have to keep their mission a secret? It is a message from starclan. They would listen if they told their leaders. Plus they will have to tell everyone about it when they get back.

-Leafpool is so gay. She keeps on commenting on Mothwing being beautiful

-the journey was boring

-crowpaw was annoying

-we finally got to meet Purdy
