Andrew Kishino is a superb narrator and his voice fits Fonda Lee's writing perfectly. While the story may not be groundbreaking, it's emotionally engaging and intriguing to fans of the series. I hope we'll get more novellas set in the world.

Contemporary fantasy isn't generally my bag, so grain of salt. But it felt like this book had a hard time setting up the world-building, and the main character was more annoying than anything (though that may have been purposeful)
