The first 20% of this book dragged PAINFULLY, to the point where I wondered if this was going to be the one and only Ali Hazelwood book I would DNF because of all of the rambling and uninterrupted misogyny was frankly painful HOWEVER once it picked up (around 21-22%), I was hooked and barely put it down.

I enjoyed this book but not as much as I did "The Love Hypothesis". I believe this was definitely more of a character driven book with plenty of sex scenes. The characters were enjoyable but how the relationship was growing between the two love interest was not my personal favorite. However, near the end it changed in a good way. There was a scene near the end that definitely caught me by surprise  and had me on the edge. It was indeed a happy ending that I was hoping for. I also enjoyed the sex scenes a lot! A lot more forward with it unlike the "shy guy" kind of personality the first book had.

Woah, I didn't expect to love this nearly as much as I did. Content warning that the end gets a bit unexpectedly dark and tense, but I was definitely on the edge of my seat.

I love Levi and his growth, his recognition that Bee needs time and patience after all of the insecurity in her life.

Ali Hazelwood got me again with another cute and fluffy STEM rom-com and honestly, I'm here for every second of it. Bee and Levi's story was so adorable. She was so convinced that he hated her and was out to ruin her career when in reality he's been pining for her for years and honestly, I was EATING IT UP. Once she finally starts to realize that her perspective on his actions are not what she thinks and starts seeing him for who he truly is, my heart was exploding. Also, the ending? WOAH. Wasn't expecting that at all and I was here for the plot twist.
