definitely not the strongest of ali hazelwood’s book. i didn’t like it as much as i loved the others. but it has its charm. and i am weak for a man who will defend and do everything for you
including take down a man with a gun lol

i think what made this book significantly feel less interesting than the others was the twist villain in the end. but i loved the main characters. i love bee and her contradictions. but she does tend to be oblivious and i’m not fond of the miscommunication trope but it did make me laugh.
funny hopeful informative inspiring medium-paced

This book had so much potential. But having the FMC shove her “I’m a smart female going against gender norms, have dyed hair, tattoos, piercing, and will only hire females” agenda down your throat was TIRING. Example: she gave the MMC some crap because he only had male artists in his phone. Who cares?! I get that roles aren’t the same for women and men considering I’m a female in the tech industry. But this was just not the way to portray it.

You got mail had a baby for Mr.Darcy !
This book was STEM core !!! Before I. Started a chapter I had to google which part of the Brian we were focusing on. lol

At first Bee did annoy me but she had her reasons and it was justifiable ! Like thinking you’re not good enough and then having the two people in the world beside your twin betray you like that ( FUCK YOU TIM ) lol but one thing about my pookie …. She is going to arrive and achieve her goals and i  love that about her

Levi . Levi Levi Levi ! Levi Wardass ! My pookie Levi ! I disliked you for how you treated Bee then I found out you were Mr. Darcy coded … you couldn’t be around her because it was hard to breathe ! Right right right *Olivia Wilde’s nod *

One thing about Ms.Ali Hazelwood is , she’s gonna make the MMC be COMPLETELY OBSESSED WITH THE fmc and have them be Top tier yearners.

An enjoyable romcom! I actually think I had more fun with this one than Hazelwood’s other novel, The Love Hypothesis. That being said, I did find the climax to be entirely too dramatic and not nearly foreshadowed enough. It was borderline supervillain drama out of nowhere. But I liked the main characters and did root for them.
