This was a slice of life book and I appreciated the snapshot of Omaha throughout (as someone who grew up in Omaha and actually performed at the rose theater in 2006!!!) I do think that this could have been about 100 pages shorter than it was!

Almost DNF’d. I love friends to lovers normally but I found the main characters were irritating ~for the plot~ and I didn’t like the writing.
