Ich weiß, dass Mister B. Gone von seinen größten Fans nicht als meisterhaftestes Werk gesehen wird.

Aber gelegentlich sind die Narben, welche ein*e Autor*in in Kunst verwandelt und die eines Lesenden deckungsgleich und es trifft zur richtigen Zeit, im richtigen Alter, die richtigen Neuronen.

The pacing of this book is a bit strange. I really enjoyed some of it but other portions were very boring to me. It was a pretty quick read though so wasn’t too hard to get through the boring bits. It was ok but kind of forgettable.
