“A King has the most value, but without a Queen, he's a hell of a lot less powerful. Together, they have the best chance of victory.”

I don't think I can put into words how much I loved this last book in Mount and Kiera's story. It wowed me, gave me the feels, and felt like a goodbye that I didn't want to happen.

Its been a while since I read Defiant Queen and I thought I would have a hard time getting back into the story. NEGATIVE! As soon as I started reading this, I was thrown back into New Orleans.

PSA: I am in love with Lachlan Mount. I would be here all day if I told you every reason why I do. So I'm just going to leave a few quotes for you.

I’ve never known what the fuck the word love means. When you’re raised without it, never feeling it, it’s not something that makes any logical sense. I already knew I would take a bullet for her. Die for her. Live for her. If that’s love, then maybe I’m finally starting to figure it out.

Somehow, in the midst of chaos, our positions changed. No longer am I the one forcing her to bend to my wishes because she has no other options. Now, we’re equals. Partners.

I’ve never believed in selflessness. I thought it was a myth. But where Keira Kilgore is concerned, my beliefs have shifted. Everything has shifted.

See what I mean?! Oh my word, this man has changed so much since Ruthless King. Don't get me wrong, he's still savage as fuck. That won't ever change.

Keira was so awesome this book. It was so awesome to so her transform into an even stronger heroine. Mount being in her life made her stronger. She took more control of her fate and I'm so glad she came to terms with her feeling for him and stood by him.

Their relationship together was hot! Exactly what you think a power couple would be like. This had twists that I didn't see coming and kept me on the edge of my seat. Every time I thought I had something figured out, I was wrong.

I’m over the moon that we will get to go back to this world with Temperance’s story, Savage Prince. I needed it like yesterday.

Genre: Smutty romance, fiction
My summary: Lachlan Mount and Keira Kilgore narrowly survive an assassination attempt and the life-or-death moment shows them each their true feelings for each other. As they navigate their newfound realizations about their relationship, they must survive more threats that are trying to end them forever before they have a chance at a happily ever after.
My thoughts: The third book was a nice wrap-up to Lachlan and Keira’s story. The books are fairly short, so all three books of the trilogy feel more like one long book to me. I love NOLA, so I’m enjoying Meghan March’s books set there. This final book didn’t feel as smutty as the first book, but there’s still plenty of spice. This trilogy is great if you’re looking for a dark, gritty, anti-hero, and smutty romance.

Better but this trilogy could have just been a duology instead of 3 shortish books

The conclusion to what had been a wild ride with passion filled moments of intense lust and longing, acceptance and forgiveness. HEA never felt so sweet. looking forward to the journey to come in Savage Prince set in the same world.

Holy. Wow.

This trilogy was one for the books!!! Mount & Keira were easily a Top 5 of the year. I loved this trilogy so much and will be re-reading very soon. These books were hot, dark, sexy, thrilling literally everything you could want in a book. I love their fire and passion. Well done Meghan, can’t wait for our Prince :)

Excellent read!

That was an amazing read! Twists and turns and just all around good story. I love how Keira and Lachlan develop through the trilogy and how their relationship morphs. Keira is Badass coming into her own and Lachlan learns how to love. Awesome! Am so looking forward to more from this author!

Just zoomed through this after also finishing the first and second today, and I loved this. Seeing the evolution between the characters made me happy, I love a good ending!

I really liked the series but I do not think it should have been divided into three books.
