What a great series this was, every book more fast paced then the next. I loved the darkness, I want more of the Kiera and Mount story, if feels like it's just getting started and I hope we hear more about them through the next series. Meghan is one of my favorite authors and you can see her growth as a writer through each book she puts out just gets better and better.

More a 3.5 but I couldn't justify giving it a 4! The series was a grand read but I just felt it was missing something for me.

Really enjoyed this series. This author writes dark characters without melodrama. Bad things happen. Everybody is scared of the hero and his business are not exactly legal but it is not over the top.
I’m not sure how to explain it. I understand that there are parts of society I know nothing about. Most books take these places way too far but This author dies not. Yes laws are broken, people are killed, problems are solved illegally but it’s still believable.
I loved that Kiera stepped fully into her new world. I didn’t like Mount hiding from her family. That seemed odd but it wasn’t enough to dislike the rest of the book.
This trilogy is a quick read and could have been one book but that’s just being nit picky.

🚨 This is the final book in a trilogy and CANNOT be read as a stansalone. 🚨

In this conclusion of The Mount Trilogy, there was a HUGE shift in Lachlan and Kiera’s relationship. They go from enemies/hate f*cking to something real.

Meghan did an amazing job crafting our main characters’ stories (past and present). Even the secondary characters (V, Temperance, Magnolia, etc.) were fully flushed out characters that added a lot to Kiera and Lachlan’s stories.

There is betrayal and violence and love and a HEA. My favorite part (besides the spice, of course) was the plot twist I did NOT see coming!

This is one of my favorite series and is one I come back to time and again. 💕

❤️Favorite Quotes ❤️
“Revolution is not without bloodshed, and neither is vengeance.”

“I don’t need a godd*mn hero, Lachlan. I need a man who isn’t afraid to stand up for the people who can’t defend themselves. You can call it whatever you want, but I call it justice and honor.”

“My bloodthirsty hellion. My defiant queen.”

Wow!!! This was the perfect conclusion to this fantastic series! Twists and turns I didn't see coming, a bit of action and suspense, sexy times and an epic romance! Loved this series so much and highly recommend it!
