THE WOMEN IN THIS ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. And seeing all Ellie and Joel’s original designs and how they thought out their father-daughter relationship was so pure.

Beautiful.
As a software engineer I always wanted to be part of the gaming industry, although life had different plans for me. Nevertheless, my feelings towards gaming will never grow old. Hell, I'm still playing games from the 90's with my SNES emulator on Linux (I successfully finished "Breath of Fire" for the millionth time a couple of weeks ago. Don't get me started with "Chrono Trigger"). Ah, I feel so nostalgic now. I wish I had more time to play video games like I used to, I guess I'll have to wait for my kid to grow up a little more and play whatever games and consoles they have in 10 years.
"The Last of Us" is one of the best games I've ever played, the story line is amazing, solid game play, the graphics are breathtaking and the setting is one of my all-time favorites: a post-apocalyptic world. No wonder why I enjoyed this little one so much, what an amazing art team!

I love The Last of Us! I like the Uncharted series more, but this game is amazing too. The storyline is great and I love the friendship between Joel and Ellie. Looking at how the game was made was absolutely fascinating. I liked seeing how the look of Joel and Ellie evolved from the beginning concept to what is actually in the game. Naughty Dog is clearly the gold standard when it comes to video games. I don’t even like zombies that much and I loved this game. (I’m also totally looking for that Easter egg in Uncharted 3!)

Nice art book. Here you can find concept art not only from the game but also from a comic book TLOU - American dreams. Really nice work with commentary on how the characters, infected and the whole amazing world of TLOU were made. And also amazing work with light. Beautiful.

Oohwee I found another art book to borrow digitally from the library! The Last of Us is one of my favorite video games and the art is just as stunning as the plot itself. This wasn't the best time to read about a book set during a pandemic, but the spores on the zombies were just so beautiful! These types of books with minimal text and maximized artwork are a feast for my eyes. This is a great book for fans of the series or sneak peek for those who aren't sure what to expect from the game. I'm totally psyched for the HBO adaptation of this with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey in the future too! I hope to find lots more art books from my library to further rest my brain and entertain my peepers!

Le había puesto 3 estrellas pero realmente tengo que ser justa, pues es un artbook, y como tal está fenomenal. Un repaso conceptual y visual a uno de los mejores videojuegos ever. Pero he de decir que una de las cosas que más disfruto de los artbooks de este estilo es que suelen venir acompañados de notas de los desarrolladores que exponen los porqués de sus decisiones, sean narrativos o prácticos o artísticos. Y en ese aspecto se queda muuuuy corto.

I have read through this multiple times.
As I hame an umpteenth run through of the game, I thought it would be great to have another gander through the Art and making of the game.
The down side of art book are that they don't really go into true depth of the development of the game. However, it is great to see the directions of which the characters were designed.
I am also very thankful that we didn't get some of the more creepy and weird infected that were featured in this book.
