This is a fantastic read if you are a fan of Sherlock or are just getting into them. I enjoyed every second of this book and loved how the character Portia progressed through out the novel. I can’t wait to read more by of Portia and her story. I also liked how there was different cases of throughout the story. There was three different cases that Portia worked on and each one showed the progression of Portia. I can’t wait to see what more this series has to offer.

Very enjoyable addition to the world of Sherlock Holmes. Misri presents us with Portia Adams, a young Canadian woman (recently orphaned) who is shocked to discover that she has a hitherto unknown guardian and a familial link to 221B Baker Street.

More of a three point five; I enjoyed it, but found the writing a little too slow-moving in places and jumpy in others. The stories were fun, though, and Portia is quite endearing. I'd read another installment for sure.

Started a bit slow but with each casebook became quite enjoyable. I look forward to the next book in the series.

A very enjoyable book! Portia Adams is a very well-written and relatable character, and the mysteries she solves were appropriately Sherlockian in their tone. I'm definitely looking forward to reading the next book in the series!

There's a lot of Sherlock spin-offs on the market these days and this is yet another one, comprising three novellas in one book. This might be interesting for anyone obsessed with Sir Doyle's clever works but I was too bored to even read it all the way through, skipping to the end (which was, unsurprisingly, predictable).

This book was okay. The writing was interesting and I definitely liked the whole concept especially the setting. 1930s London.

I found that sometimes it was a bit boring and not really exciting. The third case was definitely the most fun to read.

I know that there is two more books in this series but unless my library gets them I do t think I will read them
