This is sweet, a little steamy, and had some realness to the characters, who had to deal with some real life kind of garbage throughout the book. Petunia, “Pet,” and Mathias both work for the husband of a princess fourth in line for the throne, so there’s some light royal drama, too.

Oh it’s so so sweet and cute. They fell too hard in one single day. I wanted a bit more of the time together. But Lucy Parker writes stories that aren’t just love and lust but of finding home and Matthias and Pet are just the sweetest. He’s the grumpy protector and shes the sunshine. I love the shenanigans and seeing Dom and Sylvie and the royals. It’s so beautiful.
