I loved this book. It was a heartwarming read, the adventures of four friends separated for the first time for the Summer, and I laughed and cried and suffered with them. I was at times very sad, at others angry or frustrated or even cheering someone on. But the different stories of these four friends touched me and delighted me, and their friendship warmed me. Besides, those rules of the Sisterhood are so funny. I really liked this book and I'm looking forward to reading the following two. I loved Bailey. I admit that, of all the characters in the book, she was the one I liked the most... I confess I was crying my heart out by the time the book ended.

This book was such a great book, it really made me realize that being a reader is worth it. It wasn't a particularly sad or funny book but it's essence was just pure "girlhood." It was very relatable and the characters were all pretty loveable (except at one part when I was really frustrated with Lena). It's a quick read and great to get out of slumps (which I desperately needed).

I should have read this years ago, but I didn’t like reading when this was popular…so here we are. Loved the movie. The book was better for the most part. I liked what they did with Lena’s story better in the movie.

It was cute and emotional seeing the friendship and everything they were going through. Some heavy stuff for such young characters.

N.E.W.T.s Readathon 2020

"Sometimes you tell yourself the things you need to hear."

This wasn't bad, but I didn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as I did the movie. I liked how realistic the main characters were, and I even teared up during certain scenes, but overall there just wasn't much for me. I had considered possibly continuing the series, until I heard how bad they get, so I definitely won't be reading those lolol.
