Holy fuck. Hooooooooooly fuck. HOW DOES THIS SERIES MANAGE TO GET BETTER AND BETTER WITH EVERY BOOK HOLY SHITBALLS SON. I need the next book like 10 minutes ago.

Initial thoughts: Okay, I need a breather. So glad Inferno exists and is releasing April 2018... GARRET. EMBER. RILEY. JADE. DANTE. So, what??? Legion, what a ride. It may take me awhile to ride this review for sure, it's gonna be a tough one as I debate whether to express my opinions or just rant about how much I love Legion.
——————————————
After a shocking sacrifice, Ember and Riley work to keep those they love alive. However there is still a war to be fought and feelings cannot tamper with their better judgment. Talon has dark secrets, and as they are revealed Ember's world will only continue to flip upside down...

I'm still in awe. Julie Kagawa has her readers worrying about the fates of these beloved characters, risking their survival until help swoops in... at the very last possible moment. Heroic characters who risk everything for different reasons. Their complex personalities war with one another as they fight for what they believe is the right way.

Characters have hard decisions to make throughout this book, which may come back and haunt them or lead them to victory. Separation is inevitable in these warring times, but each time they say their goodbyes I worry for their fates, about what will happen to them when they aren't a united force.

Oh, Dante. I think he's changed the most out of them all, his good heart and protective instincts altered by the changes occurring around him. I pity him, but I also hate him for how he misunderstands Ember. The romance in Legion takes another step forward as Ember must decide; I really like the approach Julie Kagawa took to sort out the romance.

The Talon saga continues with this book, Legion, the fourth in an epic adventure about Dragons and humans who hate each other and will fight to the death to exterminate the other. Uneasy alliances formed may prove to be stronger than first thought and some things are made to be broken.

Decent read. I like how she’s handled the love triangle and some of the revelations.

This was an amazing book! I love this series! It’s so fun and filled with action. I always have trouble putting these books down because I need to know what happens next. I can’t wait to read the last book :)

Definitely the weakest book in the series. If all the other books left me enraptured and enchanted at the end of reading them, this one didn't. Just boredom and a bit of curiosity. There are certainly the foundations for a well-made ending. From this point on I expect the final battle and some deaths, I definitely can't wait to read the last volume.

Legion brought my favorite dragons and their struggles to a complete new level of epicness! The action and the final fight at the end gave me heart palpitations!

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews

Because of the way Soldier ended, I knew there would be some heartache in Legion, but I had no idea just how much! Ember, however, stepped up and took on all the responsibility she could - while staying true to herself and her beliefs. The plan Talon was putting into action was chilling to say the least, and I really didn't think things would end well. Main feel was probably fear!

After being captured by Talon, Ember learned that her own fate was supposed to be much bleaker than anything she could have ever imagined, and there was a real run against time to try to save her. I am trying my best to be vague enough to not spoil a single little thing, so apart from squealing and saying epic a lot, I'm not sure how to do Legion justice... There were some flashbacks to Ember and Dante's childhood that shed some light on why they behaved the way they did.

The writing is awesome, as always, and there are different points of views so various characters get to explain what is going on - and we did get some kind of understanding of why Dante was doing what he did... If you haven't pre-ordered this already, you should. And if you aren't up to date in the series, you have one more week until Legion hits the shelves. Just get to it so you'll be ready for this action-packed and fast-paced adventure that is positively lethal.

Fave Quotes - (un)Conventional Bookviews

If I was in Talon, I would be the one in charge, I'd be the one calling the shots. I wouldn't have to take pointless exams, listen to humans or worry that my every move was being watched. In Talon, dragons were the bosses, the presidents, the CEOs. If I was a part of the organization, no one would tell me what to do ever again.

I would have to let some things go. I t might be painful, but in the end, it would be worth it. Sacrifice was necessary, but I would be free.
