I love this series. It's exciting and fast-paced, and best of all, it contains dragons. I like the way the characters are developing and the way the war between Talon and the rogues is going.
Spoiler Finally, all of Talon's enemies are teaming up. One thing bothered me, however. At the end of Soldier, it was apparent that Garret had died. It felt to me as though Kagawa changed her mind at the beginning of Legion and brought him back to life. It just felt a bit disjointed. I felt that his passing would have been effective in terms of story development. But then again, a forbidden romance is appealing, too.
Can't wait until the last book is released!

Because of the way the last book ended, it's practically impossible to review this book without spoilers. Let's just say that the love triangle was finally put to rest in this book, but it might not be for the reasons you suspect.

This book focused a bit more on Dante and gave us flashbacks of Ember and Dante in school---it pretty much established the fact that I'm just not a fan of the backstory chapters in these books. I don't feel like I learned enough to merit these full chapters. I did maybe gain a little more sympathy for Dante, but I still just can't really understand him. Mostly, I want to shake him and tell him to wake up.

Still, this book gave us some major revelations that I didn't see coming (though I feel like I've kinda sorta seen before---I still liked them, for the most part). The end of this book ratchets up the excitement and it had me eager for the final book, which I will be picking up any day now!

What can I say...
Even though I thought the middle part of this book was a bit... boring and not quite my cup of tea, the ending more than made up for that!

I'm just trash for this series and you better believe that Inferno is on its way to me, so I can finish this story!

This book of the series was definitely the most interesting so far and a lot happened. I gotta say it: Ember and Garrett, love them! Ember and Riley are soul friends in my opinion (which I like way better), I think that’s why there’s still that ancient dragon linkage between them.

The battle scenes definitely had we stressing out a little bit but they had me hooked!

Also, I have a hate-empathetic relationship with Dante’s character (Julie probably meant to do this). I despise how cruel and manipulative he is but then I feel empathetic because I know that a lot of the cruelty and manipulation comes from being brain washed by Talon. A complex character for sure that I’m hoping gets a redemption arc in the next book.

My favorite character: still Garrett

Here’s to hoping I’m not emotionally wrecked by the next book.

That last stand!
It was epic!!
Enemies joining together to face a bigger threat!!!
Classic!

Almost got scared that some characters might've died!!

But this series!!

Talon deserves the crown for being the most smart, conniving, evil empire and Dante, he is just there to prove he can do everything right ..not fail....all for mommy dearest.
He chose his goal than his twin.
And here I was hoping he was Mist's secret employer.
But that went down the drain. Any hope for redemption is gone.
He seeks more power as the story goes by and it is scary.
He would be more formidable in the future and Ember might need to end him herself.

The last stand of St. George with the Rogue dragons got me so emotional.
I wanna see them get to know each other ...to see that all they knew are not 100% facts...I want less animosity between these group of people. It would be nice seeing them be at least civil.

I need a little less trauma for the next book.
Which I doubt would happen
