This was such a cliche (not good cliche), boring book, and the characters weren't lovable to me. It was disappointing. I don't even understand how and why they fell in love. The writing wasn't great, either, and the military love took me out. The smut made me snort a couple of times.
It felt like I was reading a bad first draft, ngl.

The tension was so great, but the spicy scenes were as if added in later on with no connections to the characters they were simply not individualized...
In books I prefer characters not voicing political opinions, if it is not something like "I support human rights".
I do not like fMCsgiving up everything they dreamed of for a man like come on.
Other than that it was a good little romance story.
