I took me a while to be able to review this book and still I do not seem to be able to review it but here I am.
The book literally tackles topics after topics in a very deep and philosophical manner. The first couple of question that we can immediately ask ourselves is such a person being able to live in today society or will he be an idiot, is he really an idiot or too good that he is willing to put aside the norms and be better than the other. He was able to sacrifice himself for others form the beginning to the end of the book. Many questions arises such as is giving is good, is always being good  something useful, about being to truthful about how can someone be forgotten at the end and the respect can be lost trough time from people around us. How can even such a guy the mouse and Lion be called idiot but at the same time he has some charming characteristic that drowns all the cast towards him.
How their is the opposing character of prince Myshkin and trying to hard to be special but his intentions are evil and victimizes himself, when we can draw the parallel with Lev that despite all the badness still have a kind of positive attitude.
Another question if someone do not draw his validation from others and from social constraints how can he be offended for instance like in the scene where Nastaya  disrepected him but he did not take it negatively, neither was offended  since he does not care about social constraint.
And for the ending no spoilers but could such a man survive or would he drive to be mad in such a book.
The case by case and argument roller coaster being with a side then having another argument making shift perspective and going nah I am not with this side makes it the mor interesting.
It´s such a rich book with a lot of caracteres, references to St Petersburg 19th century, nihilism…
The book might seem heavy and slow sometimes and might not be everyone cup of tea. But it´s worth the time investment and read!
