Jane is one funny teenage vampire, luckily before she was turned she was a vampire fangirl writing stories on an online fansite. When she awoke inside of a coffin she instantly knew what had happened, that and the telephone that was left in her coffin asking about her whereabouts so she could be dug up. We have the whole family in this book and oddly enough the family doesn’t have a hard time coming to terms with this vampire problem of their daughters. There is no love interest in this book which is refreshing but two boys do seem to be fighting over her attention. No spoiler in this review because I think you need to read this book, it made me chuckle a lot and Jane has one of the
best funny attitudes every.

It was funny. I did enjoy it. More so toward the end when it got a little bit more dramatic but still funny. Basically when things were happening.
I really wished the love story developed more and faster! That's just me though, a good love story gives me motivation to keep reading.

Loved this book! Fang Girl tells the story of Jane, who loves all thing "vampire". She's a die-hard fan of Twilight, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and anything else vampire-related. She writes vampire fan fiction, since she just can't get her fill of vampires! But she's always been able to separate reality (Jane's world) from fantasy (Buffy, vamp fanfic, etc.)... until she wakes up in a coffin, with pointy fangs, and a thirst for blood. Within minutes, she gets a phone call from her sire (coffins have really great cell reception, apparently). This is when Jane's life changes forever... with hysterical results. If you've loved (or just laughed at) vampire lit, TV shows and movies in the past, then definitely check out Fang Girl!

Jane is so entertaining. I'd read this book again just for her. But the plot is pretty simple, and the ending was confusing (to me). I wasn't really into the book near the end, but it was pretty funny and quick to read.

Fang Girl by Helen Keeble stars Jane who wakes up and finds herself in a coffin. Now just because she was obsessed with vampires didn't mean she wanted to be one. She soon travels home to see her very shocked parents (and brother who is sure she is a zombie) who treat her change like an interesting science experiment.

I could not stop laughing throughout this book. It was a fantastic comedy. From the brother who was sure she was a zombie to her zombie goldfish and her obsession with organization I couldn't stop reading and finished the book quickly. I can't wait to read more from Hellen Keeble.

Appropriateness: This book has no adult content and the romance is light and fluffy. I would recommend this book to readers 12+

I liked this one. It was funny, fast, and original. The beginning had me actually laughing. But as the book progressed and the action picked up, something got lost. There was too much going on or too much back and forth, but I started losing interest. Parts were confusing with the back and forth and the whose on whose side stuff. But overall it was enjoyable and fun. Just don't take this one too seriously. *Spoiler Alert* IKEA and a vampire goldfish both make appearances.

This book was amazing. It was a quick, easy read, lighthearted and fun. I was laughing out loud at so many parts of it. And of course, I loved all the various vampire cultural references. The characters were interesting, I loved Jane's parents, and I could not get enough of Brains the fish. I've read a lot of vampire books and this one is definitely one of the best.

this book is full of satire!!
It's pretty much making fun of the traditional vampire novels out there today. It was very entertaining to read but since I'm not used to reading books like this, I gave it a lower score. It was very hard for me to get into just because it was making fun of everything I read. I loved it but I didn't like it at the same time.
This book has everything ranging from Van Helsing to an undead goldfish.
