In all the fiction I have read about Vlad very little has covered the time he spent with the Sultan so this was an interesting read. I don't know how indepth the research was but you can't expect a fictional piece to be historically accurate 100% of the time. I do think it was well written, I enjoyed her style of writing and will read her novel IMPALER as soon as I can.
