Mixed. It doesn’t add much new to There There, which I really enjoyed. The prose is always the same, no matter who is speaking or what tense they are speaking in. And … I felt it only worked for one character, Orvil… But I liked him a lot. It was almost always ok, sometimes good.

I liked it when I started. Then there was quite a period of being in a dark hole. I was elated to see Orville make his way through to the other side with some very keen insight. Loved his new found way of looking at people and their creations as being of the earth.   Loved his way of thinking it was important to understand who lived where we are before us.  Great to see the strength of the family structure. I don’t think this is often recognized.
