I enjoyed reading this. I got through this quicker than the second book in this series. I wasn't Gabriella's biggest fan but she's tolerable enough. Killian tho, he's a peach!

This was my favorite book out of the 3 in this series. Gabriella and Killian's past made the story deeper but also left me feeling unsatisfied for the same reason. I didn't think their past issues were explained or resolved sufficiently. Their chemistry was amazing and for this reason, I feel that if they had been given space to interact outside of the club and speak like adults, the reunion could have had more authenticity. I understand that this series focuses on the smut, and this book has my favorite smut in the series, but the emotional conflict and Gabby's reasons didn't make too much sense to me and left me wanting more from them both. A little more angst could have bumped this up to a 3 for me.
Decent enough and a nice little end for the series.
Sadly for me I was left wanting more from the story.

The 3rd book in the Lick series features Killian and Gabriella and they haven't seen each other in five years.
There is so much animosity from Killian that I wasn't sure if they would ever get their HEA. Of course, his anger was warranted, but he wouldn't even listen to her to let her explain why she did what she did. At one point I wanted to hit him over the head for making everything so difficult.
Since Killian had been an enigma from the beginning, I was really looking forward to his story and enjoyed this book. I know each book is a standalone, but I kinda wanted a little more interaction with all the characters throughout the story, not just at the end.
Good series and enjoyable read.

Really enjoyed the second chance romance aspect of this book.
