The writing was incredible. So poetic and raw. I applaud the narrator for capturing the deep emotions carried in this book. This book was so deeply personal and heart wrenching but at times it felt disjointed. The chapters were very long and jumped between time periods at times and I felt like the confusion took me out of the experience the author was creating for the reader.
A beautiful book but I would highly suggest looking into the content warnings before diving in. This is the first time where I have found that the StoryGraph’s user submitted content warnings were not accurate.
