An absolutely gripping British domestic suspense that kept me guessing til the very end! Two seemingly happy married women go missing in the same week - coincidence? The detectives think not but what is the motive? What really happened?? This one was full of sex, lies, jealousy and dark secrets. I got a lot of Local woman missing vibes (which was one of my fav domestic thrillers from 2021). Definitely recommended and great on audio. This was a page turner I was sad to finish!

I don’t know what I wanted the ending to be, but I don’t think it was that. The whole Leigh and Kai being the same person, I thought that was a brilliant plot twist and I didn’t catch on to that at all. But what are the chances that Fiona and Kai were hooking up with the same man? I was suspecting Oli. I would’ve like to have known what happened to both Mark and Daan in the end, as the whole book was kinda dragged out, but then it ended suddenly. Why add DC Clements as a character, if it made no difference to the end result or storyline in general?

I accidentally read the sequel first. I tried to listen to the first one afterwards, but I already know the end and decided not to finish it.  I didn't get very far in.

3.5 rounded up

Whew! What a beginning. It totally did what the author intended. It sucked me in and made me want more.

I can't say a whole lot because I don't want to give away the twists to the story but rest assured, when you start this one, you are not going to want to stop. So messed up. And brilliant!

You will definitely want to add Woman Last Seen to your reading list. It's probably going to be ranked up there as one of my favorite (i.e. mind-blown) thrillers of all time.
