This was an intense and unpredictable book, full of surprising plot twists that kept me engaged. The ending really shocked me. I didn’t see it coming at all. However, it also felt a bit rushed, almost as if the author suddenly ran out of ideas or tried to wrap things up too quickly. I would have liked a bit more build-up or explanation in the final chapters.

From the blurb I expected a fast-paced, full of suspense and action solving this missing person cases. Unfortunately, it's far from those things. It's a slow-burn psychological thriller.
At the beginning we follow the victim's life, that got me sympathize with them which is good, the back and forth between the past and present, got me turn page after page wondering what happen, altough kinda dragging sometimes, still it's not that bad even though kinda annoying for me. Then THE Plot Twist hit me and it's a big surprise, I really didn't see that coming so I think it's getting better, but nope, everything is going downhill from that, I hate all characters in the end and some parts seems unbelieveable and that ending OMG it's so infuriating and frustrating and kinda dissapointing for me. I wish I could say something more but I don't want give any spoilers.
So overall, it's just an okay read for me.

I’ll give it 3 stars just because it only deserves 2.5 .. was ok took me ages to read because was boring if I’m honest . I really really need to learn to DNF but i can’t sooo annoying
