I love the way Benjanun Sriduankaew sort of mythologizes the ai giving many lifetimes through iterative storytelling and significant naming. This story is such an effortless read, beautiful prose. Its playful and flirty and has a timeless quality yet contains these serious moments where the author introduces the idea of this city with no public community spaces and constant surveilance or the role of class in the function of Dushann's city or Amaryllis <3
