Wonderful continuation, I loved seeing the catch up details for those that might not start with the first book. Really helps students be able to know what is going on without having to read every book.

The second book in the Spiderwick Chronicles series. This is flying by. Each book so far has only taken me less than a couple hours to read.

In The Seeing Stone, Simon is kidnapped and the other two go in search of him with the help of the seeing stone, a device that will help them see goblins and other mysterious creatures around their house.

I’m very much enjoying this series and look forward to continuing.

A good second book, however not as good as the first. I was bother a bit about the way the hogsqueal got the goblin's attention, He urinated in their fire and it turned green. That just seemed like something that might be not appropriate for a children's book. However, I liked the new characters and I can't wait to read about the upcoming characters. Onward to the next book.
