This was a lot of fun, better than the last (and I enjoyed that one too). Adventure, schemes, plots, long-shot strategies and seat of the pants near-disasters, quippy one-liners, genuine emotional stakes. The secondary characters get more fleshed out and the mains keep up the character development. More highlightable lines both funny and profound. I'm picking up the third later today *happy dance* and I'm eager to keep reading.

Just as good as the first with some more overt anti-fascism thrown in. I definitely liked the first one better but this was still really, really good. Disappointed in the character development for Boots though, mainly being that there was very little. I am wary of the premise for the next one.

I rated the first one 3 stars, but when faced with my TBR pile, I immediately picked up its sequel. Fun gang-of-weirdoes-on-a-spaceship. I get the feeling White is moving toward an overall conclusion.

As with A Big Ship at the Edge of the Universe, this book was. Delight from start to finish! Just pure fun and I loved every minute!
