An absolute delight
Fantastic world building, great characters, a plot that actually kept me guessing… LOVED this. I utterly related to the protagonist; anxiety and panic attacks can do a number on even the most intelligent characters.
This is a quick and pleasant read. I highly suggest it for anyone looking for something different.

The banter was fun and I enjoy the characters so far. A lot of open questions and I’m not sure yet if I should finish this series or go back a few books in the connected series and read the books in reading order instead of just series order. I’m glad Amalia is coming around and looking forward to meeting these new guild members and seeing what kind of trouble they get into next.
Didn’t like the narrator and nearly 100 pages In with absolutely nothing happening but the fmc being overly scared of everything and everyone except a freaking demon.

I'm leaving a review after reading this whole series, so I will try not to spoil it. In the overall arc, this wasn't my favorite book in the series, I think the last book is the best. This book is still really good, and it's a very different take on demons and magic. The FMC is very timid, shy, and naive. It makes experiencing the universe and magic a new thing, because you feel like you are learning with her the whole time. There is some family angst, some mystery, and you will need to read the other books to get to the conclusion. I rate this as a 4, but ramping up to 5 stars by the end. This isn't a spicy book series, but there is a love story arc that in my opinion is worth it.

I really enjoyed this novel. The audio was great. The voice fit the characters. It’s intense action packed and interesting. Robin and our demon pop up in Demon Magic and a Martini. Here we get the beginning of their story and how Robin ends up contracted with a demon. I liked our demon. The only downside was Robin. I like my heroines more together, bold, kick-ass. At first her shy mousiness worked but then it got annoying. Perth the entire book until maybe the last 10% she was just to reserve too shy and made ridiculous stupid decisions and didn’t want to confront the problem or a person.
